Northwest Guilford Viking Band

Almost 90% of this ensemble’s members are in the Viking Marching Band. The same percentage of students in this ensemble are also involved in or have been involved in private lessons with an area professional.  

 

Students may audition for Honors Credit all four years of high school.  

 

The Wind Ensemble at Northwest performs music from the Grade V & VI category at North Carolina Music Performance Assessment (MPA) in March. They have consistently received Superior ratings at the NC MPA.
